Ella's Party

Nearly a month ago now, my little niece Ella turned one! I have some lovely pics from her birthday party to share with you. Ryan and Sunni, I am sorry it took me so long! She's so adorable! Those Asian features and blue eyes!

At the party, they had a diving for donuts contest {my kiddos loved that}, a monkey piƱata that was beaten half to death and still wouldn't give up the goods, and three--count them, three--birthday cakes.

Why three cakes? Because one was just for Ella...

My Miakins was so happy about all the sweets. Oooo, I just want to smooch her when I look at this picture :)

Cousins giddy with sugar...

We tried so hard for a family pic, but miss Ella, who had just learned how to walk, had a different agenda. Ryan and Sunni were in good spirits... I wish I would have taken more pictures of other family members--next get together!

Gorgeous girls. What a beautiful family too. So much love, and so sweet. I am going to have to try diving for doughnuts at Lane's 1st birthday party- that sounds so fun!

Thanks, gals. I wish I knew more about photography. {I love the first pic of Ella but was a little bummed that it turned out more blurry than I expected.} The truth is that I know very little about how to work a camera and a lot more about editing. I used to wonder why sitting fees are $150-$200+ for a professional. Now I know! It's because it takes hours to edit all those pictures.

Mande, as for the doughnut diving, I have a lot of cute little pics of their faces covered in sugary glaze.... he, he. I wish I would have taken some pics of my parents, though... I have yet to post a pic of them that I like. {If you're reading mom and dad, you better get dolled up the next time you see the camera ;) }

For a gift, I tried to take pics of Ella in a basket with petals, but I couldn't get any big smiles... maybe later I'll post them or links or something. :)

Oh, one more thing, I'm working on a big project that is going to knock your socks off! {It's not one I have ever mentioned before, and I am keeping it a surprise.} I'm bursting to tell you... hopefully soon!

Oh great, now I'm going to have to have to make sure I have the computer with me in the bathroom and in my bed...since those are probably the only times I'm not contstantly refreshing your page for something new and exciting. I'm sure my husband will thank you..hehe. :)

oh my! You're going to have me going crazy from the suspense over here!

Lol. Okay, maybe this will help. It's not an item I made and it's not something you might miss if you don't get here first. I'm not 100% sure of the time frame. {So, Amy, it's okay to take a shower.} I'll get back to you on the when, but I'm not telling what it is... he, he :) It is defintely "kock your socks off" cool. Am I being mean? ;)

haha, yes you are, but that's ok, we're all obviously coming back. :)

Well, since you have reassured us, its off to church for me...and yes, despite the agony it created for me to tear myself away from the computer, I did shower! hehe :)

Hope everyone's Sunday is blessed.

Seriously, I am afraid to take a shower or leave the house. Hopelessly addicted to the Mia Joie.
OK when is that support group thing going to start up?

Cannot wait to see the pics of the kiddos covered in sugary glaze. I think I am going to be just as excited to try out the doughnut diving. :)

Okay...those girls are absolutely gorgeous. They already look like best friends :) The birthday party looked like a blast and I love the doughnut game. I have never heard of it before. How fun :) You did an amazing job on the photos as always.

About this secret you are keeping... I hope it is not for too long :) My husband is ready to send me away for this addiction and I am not sure what he will do if it gets any worse..hehe.. Thank you for bringing so much excited to our days. All the anticipation is so much fun ;)

Looks like fun! Both Ella & Mia are simply adorable!! and what't this about a surprise? I have a few guesses but won't mention them in case I'm WAY off! lol! Happy sunday!!

I love surprises!!! Yes, my husbands probably like everyone elses, wondering why I'm always on the computer stalking Mia Joie, sigh, they just don't understand. Maybe there should be a website for them but then we would need 2 computers! I'll be waiting in the wings...

My little Evy wore MJ Couture to church this morn. Posted a pick on our blog. So fun! :)

Hana, I don't think you know... I mean, it's not anything I've mentioned to anyone is an email; i.e., not the "big project." Drop me a line, and I'll tell you if you're right ;)

Amy, your little Evy is not too happy--lol!

I'll try to get back to you on a timeline for the reveal... I'm thinking a week, maybe sooner.
