Aspire...

"Far away
there in the sunshine
are my highest aspirations.
I may not reach them,
but I can look up and see their beauty,
believe in them,
and try to follow where they lead."

You will reach them, because I believe in you. ♥
You are, and have always been, our highest aspiration. The love and grace and beauty we see in you fulfills our deepest desires. Press into Him and press on. "Thou hast given her, her hearts desire..." Psalm 21:2 Read Isaiah chapter 40 and meditate on His gentle leading. He is leading you, we see that and rejoice.
Your photographs capture such charm and the splendor of each occassion. These snapshots of your life, they resemble the "sunshine" I aspire to reach as a mother, wife and woman.
Thanks for the lovely post :)
Mia is looking so big!! What a great picture, I love great captured shots of babes :)
absolutely adorable!
My sister lives so far away from me, yet with this beautiful picture, and inspirational verse, it conjured up a feeling of 'family' regardless of the space between us.
Thanks Jessica! :)
Love the photo Jess. Love the words as well. Beautiful.
Hana
Beautiful.
so sweet!
Love the photo and quote together. Inspiring!
So jealous of your nice sunshine!
Thanks for the inspiration. What kind of camera do you use?
Beautiful photo and the girl is lovely. You have nothing to envy a photographer of the ones who make children's clothing catalogs, you know the right time to capture the light, the composition, in order to have an aesthetic sense and it's reflected in everything you do.
Thank you so much, to all of you, for your kind and encouraging comments. They really do sustain me, especially during difficult days. Anon, I use a Canon 40D :)
oh my goodness, your children are so beautiful! i'm expecting my first (a little boy) in june, and your gorgeous photos and writing are making me so look forward to everything. oxo
Thank you, Joanna, and congratulations on expecting a little boy; those first few months together are especially sweet. Blessings :)
