Thanks, Hana :) You have three kiddos, how do you keep sane? This morning I made apple cinnamon muffins. While I was in our bedroom doing laundry, Mia took the tops off of all the muffins and mixed it with soft butter to make a paste, which she smeared on the counters, cabinets, and floor! G'ah! What a mess!

Jessica,

You both look so beautiful!! I just love seeing Mia as she grows up.. she is just a step ahead of Ava. Seeing her pics gives me a glimpse into what is soon to come :)!

I have a funny story you reminded me of w/the muffins... Once, my neice an I made special rose bud cakes for my sisters birthday. she individually decorated each cake (14 in all) While she was taking a bath I went to the kitchen to admire her work and couldn't find them... I looked in the oven and microwave thinking they'd been put away. Suspiciously though, there was a single cake left on the counter. As my dog Allie walked past with her head down and her tail between her legs I realized SHE ATE THEM ALL except the one!!! My neice and I couldn't believe it, but fortunaley Allie did save one for my sister!!!

I hope you are doing well and I can't wait to see what is to come with your business!

Big hugs,
Kristy

OH, and one other thing,

THE HOUNDSTOOTH BOOTS ARE SUPER FUN!!! I think I've created a monster because Ava LOVES getting packages in the mail and SHE LOVES SHOES already!!! She is only 17 months old, hahaha!! "shoes" was one of her first 10 words, lol!!

Love the picture of you!

Was talking to a girlfriend about you tonight and how awesome your blog is, about how every time I come here, I feel inspired, and the trick to stalking your blog to get a pair of shoes!! (I gave Avery a pair for her first birthday, they are the only things that seem to fit her feet, she has Fred's just like Lola's were!)

While I love seeing all of your adorable shoes and reading all of your inspiring quotes - this picture says it better than any words! The two of you are beauties!

Jenni, you're so kind. Too kind, really. I don't know if you would still think I was inspiring if you saw how much I battle mess on a daily basis. Case in point, I woke up with a granola back stuck to my shirt. Yea. Sick, isn't it? I should have known. Saturday morning, Robert had given the kids breakfast, and Mia came in to say good morning {and to tell me to "get up and make caw chee."} She offered me one of those strawberry special K granola bars. I refused and assumed she took it with her. Apparently, she left it for me--under my pillow. So I woke up smelling like strawberries with mashed granola bar all over my back. I tell myself it could have been worse--it could have been a hot dog.

Love your cupcake story, Kristy. All that work for a doggie treat--so sad. As for your little gal and the shoes, just wait! If she is anything like my Mia, it will only get worse as she gets older :)

Absolute blissful photography Jessica! There was a forum post on etsy tonight, of which I happened to mention your blog and I hope you do not mind. Its adorable, and a pleasure to read.
Your work is awesome as well :)
Do you give private lessons in creative writing ... just by chance?

What a beautiful photo! After 3 boys I just had my 1st girl 2 weeks ago, Felicity:-) This photo carries such a sweetness that I hope will be in my baby girl and I's relationship. I look forward to buying her first pair of your shoes:-)
Where did you buy Mia's shirt? Another good question would be, what are your favorite places/sites to buy her clothes? I'm so new to the fun world of girls, sometimes its overwhelming to sift through all of it to find the best. Would love some recommendations if you get a second.

i just want to know how long that nice cream shirt stayed a nice cream shirt. i swear i buy clothes that are child proof now no matter how much i love the color white! :) i admire your courage to wear that, being a mom of three (number 4 is on the way!) i know how hard stains are to get out, and also that the things you assume will wash out, usually dont! props to you Jessica, for showing all us moms that we too can wear the clothes we want! :)

I got the peep toes and WOW they are so so so gorgeous; I would say these are my favorite but the bright fabric Paula Prass shoes are pretty hard to beat and it was those that were given as a gift to me that started my obsession with all things Mia Joie <3 Here's a picture of Harlow wearing them a couple of days ago...

Oh and I can't thank you enough for the pink ribbon flower headband since that flower is sorta on the big side for my baby Harlow, that headband will be PERFECT for her to wear now.

Thank you again for creating such beautiful things and sharing them with all of us fans.

Wishing you and your family an egg-stra special Easter!!!

Brianne, congrats to you! AS for places to shop... hmm. To be honest, I tend to either make something myself or buy from Target. Not very exciting, I know. However, my friend Jen at Eden's Bouquet has an amazing line of clothing. Also, Andrea Hallet (her link is on the left on my blog) is great at finding adorable clothes to outfit her Emme. {You can see pics if you page through her archives, she usually posts where items were purchased.} I also like some things from Janie and Jack, though a lot of their items are too traditional for me. Hope that helps!

Meagan, I wear cream/off white all the time! MAybe I am a glutton for punishment, but I generally don't have too hard of a time. Although, yesterday Aidan kept insisting the best place to wipe his nose was my shirt. ick! Someday, I would love to launch a line designed especially for moms. Mothers tend to fall into a rut of comfy but functional clothes. I think moms can still be comfortable and practicaly, but do it with pieces that are still cute. {Like a stylish more durable version of yoga bands and t-shirts that a comfortable and wear well, but have some design interest and are made to be flattering.} Hey, a girl can dream... :)

Meredith, I owe you quite a few emails. I'll get to them today! :)

Thanks for taking the time to get back to me about Mia's clothes. Of course you make her clothes:-), what was I thinking. I bought some solid colored onesies to attempt some adornment myself, just trying to convince myself its ok to do that instead of attacking the sky high laundry pile.
I'm a Target gal myself too:-) Thanks for the other two sites. I will definitely check them out. Can't wait to hear more about your website and name. Good luck on the move!
