Just Shy of Tiffany Box Blue

photo credit: Happy Chinese New Year!
What a busy few weeks it has been, and in the interim my blog posts are falling few and far between. I've missed you, my friends! I have been so bogged down in serious phone calls. I have to tell you, it's an interesting thing, working from home. Sometimes it is wonderful: I can be home with my kids, brew coffee all day long, play the music I like, keep my own hours, etc. But sometimes I end up tucked into my closet, behind three closed doors, trying to have a professional, serious conversation and praying that the person on the other end can't hear the howls, screams, and thumping of chubby little fits on the door. What is it with little children and closed doors? There is nothing like it to ignite loud fits of protest!
In a previous post, several people were lobbying in the comments for more peep toes. As I have been saying, when I am stressed, I create. So, I made a little pair of peep toes in just a slightly greener shade than Tiffany box blue...

So, just for fun, I put together a little ensemble that mom could wear to coordinate with her little miss if she were wearing the peep toes above. I have put together looks before, and Mai {the owner of the fab shop, Ruche} asked if I use Polyvore. I had never heard of Polyvore, so this time, I gave it a try. What wickedly good fun! If you're a fashionista, be prepared to want to spend hours paging through creative fashion scapes and trendy apparel. It's especially fun because I seem to shop at all the same places, and it introduced me to some interesting boutiques and clothing lines of which I was previously unaware.

You can follow the link on the photo to see where you can purchase the items, like the little cream dress that is a steal at only $42! Or this dress, for the same price. However, they also feature designer shoes and clothing, too. Have fun and don't blame me if you spend an hour paging through dresses and shoes... I gave you full warning ;)
Back to the peep toes, I am sorry, but I don't have a range of sizes in anything for you yet. As I mentioned, everything is still temporarily on hold. {I'll be able to explain some of it soon.} However, I will sell these one-of-a-kind little peep toes available here.
Finally, here is a picture of my two little munchkins in the tub. They look so sweet, but don't let them fool you--they're rebel rousers!

I am thrilled to say that I just bought my first pair of Mia Joie shoes! I cannot believe I snagged the only pair! Lily is in a 4, so I figure a 5 will be perfect for spring. I cannot wait to get them in the mail! You really are absolutely amazing, and they are going to be so perfect with the Easter dress I am making her.
Oh my!!! WOW!!! I am so bummed I was bathing the kids when you posted these. So bummed. Hope things are better this week. xoxo
So adorable. This question has had me wondering for a very long time. It seems that your daughter still wears these shoes even at a walking/running age. What is the sole? Or better question is it pretty tuff stuff to keep the older toddlers comfortable?
missed out... the shoes are so cute....so are the sweet children.
Oh, I missed it! Please tell me there will be more peep toes available soon...
Darnit, already sold out. So beautiful!!!
I've missed you the past couple of weeks. I know that life must be crazy right now. I'd love to meet with you sometime soon to talk about what we last spoke of. I'll be out of pocket until mid-March. Would you consider calling me when you have a moment or two to breathe?
HII!!! I just came across this blog and want you to know that I Love love love the shoes. My daughter is 1 and I am always trying to find fun shoes for her and it looks like you have nailed it!! I cannot wait to get Hayden a pair!!

Adorable!! Kids, shoes, all of it!
I don't have time to respond to all the comments yet, but I wanted to say that the McKenna Riding boots are nearly finished and I will try to make a set {size range 2-8} of peep toes over the weekend. Any color request?
brown and hot pink?
Maybe just all sorts or bright different colors? Like the Roxie shoes maybe? I'm in love with those, truly. I know you are way swamped...if it would be more convenient or make things easier for you, you could just drop the shoes to me in the car rider line Mon?
pink! pink! pink!
Hey Jess,
Aidan and Mia are so very precious. They are so beautiful. I love Aidans wide smile, and Mias long hair!

Mom

I agree with pink. Or a combination of spring pastels.
PINK is my vote!!:) LOVE the peep toes!! :) If you do make the shoes will you be posting them over the weekend? Cause I'll be out of town:( I just can't miss out again!! Paris is growing out of her Roxie's...I stuffed her poor little feet in them one more time for my birthday dinner;) Now they'll just set on a shelf in her room:)
Your children have such beautiful little faces - LOVE THEM!
I love the new shoes ~ so sad that little Lola can no longer wear your shoes, she needs a little bit more support! Hope that one day they go hard soled! We still follow you and love everything that you do! I swear you keep getting better and better!
Again, congratulations on all of your success! So proud of you!
I was so distracted by Polyvore, it's taken me a whole two days to get back to comment :) Seriously it has been my window to sanity in the insanity of registration time at the uni. and completely addictive!
Sweet photo of sweet siblings!
The colours *I'm* feeling right now; oranges and creams, ochres, bright blues and sunny yellows together! All very West Indies inspired.
Bronwyn box of hair accessories arrived yesterday. Thank you so much Jessica! Will catch up properly in an email soon!
Ohhhhhhh! I cannot wait for the boots!!! Love the black and white shot of your babies! They seriously are dolls!!!!!
Would love to see more Tiffany blue & of course pink in the peep toes. LOVE!!!
I agree with pink, any shade would be nice.
I've got a little girl now, and I request limey green with lots and lots of flower detail :)
How about a Pink & Green combination? I agree with Lori, lots of flower detail!
