Brunch and an Update
It's a balmy, lazy Saturday. Robert and I had a late breakfast at home on the porch: a deconstructed carbonara of sorts with poached egg and herbs from my kitchen garden, apple turnovers, blackberries, melon, mint. I miss cooking. Some days, when my small children are older and hopefully less messy, I will have more energy for it again. Anyhow, I thought I would write this quick post to say that the new name is almost here! Timi and I were up collaborating until 4:30 am on Thursday night/Friday morning. We probably could have launched then, if I could have stayed up another hour. Of course I am quite biased, but I think you will find it worth the wait.... do stay tuned :)

OK...you know what...that's just torture!! I just started a diet today...and that looks DELICIOUS:) And making us wait for the namechange all in the same day!!! LOVE your beautiful products, can't wait to get my hands on some. Keep up the awesome inspiration!

I am soooo excited for this new launch!
A friend of mine saw a picture of Ava in her Josie peep toes and went gaga over them! She was over last night and we had so much fun watching her little girl try on all of the shoes I bought Ava for when she's bigger!! Our girls both LOVE them so much!! I ended up giving her the Roxy Peep toe, she was SO EXCITED!!! These little treasures are the best gifts ever for moms with little girls! Thanks Jess!
I know you said you would be offering the red shrug come mid-May... will there only be a few available? Just curious and anticipating how difficult it may be to get one! I think it would look so perfect with the sabrina shoes and a pair of jeans!

Brunch looks delicious! And wow, guess you are in the process of changing it all...as I type! I have to say, I don't think that the new name could be more perfect. Congratulations Jessica!
The breakfast... oh it was a loose {very loose} interpretation of carbonara, sauteed prsoscuitto, mushrooms, peas {and corn} with a poached egg on top. Ya know, b/c a true carbonara has egg in the sauce. Not so healthy.
Also, if you happen to be reading at this moment, we are loading in the new blog in pieces...

nope, text is great! The script was a little hard to read at first, but only cause I'm not used to seeing it and it caught me off guard...but I think it actually fits your blog perfect! love it! Good job! And I love the logo BTW. :)

Works for me. ...in fact who am I kidding?!? They ALL work for me. hehe. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this means that there will be a bunch of shoes available in the near future.. xoxo
Ah, yes, good question! I have a dozen or so of some of these, but I will have hundreds of clothes for sale in a week. I can't sell the shoes yet b/c we haven't customized the blog shopping cart yet. I might list them on Etsy, soon... b/c I have a Joyfolie shop on Etsy and a Joyfolie facebook... and a joyfolie email and bank account... you get the idea. It's been--exhausting.

Thank you. It's fun to have a place for staff photos and have it be a bit more interactive for customers... I think I am going to go that route and drop twitter... since it fills the same function, but is more fun, I think.
I just got a chance to browse the photos...awesome!! I mentioned on the non-pic of Alisha that I could probably upload a picture of her for you, but she would definitely hate me forever. hehe. But really, maybe at Evy's Bday this Tues with her wearing an "FJ Couture" item. :)
You should take her pic--your photos are getting really good. I wish I could do it myself. Hmmm... I guess when we go to NAppa this fall ;)
