Flowers, Giveaway, and an Update
Time flies, does it not? In After the Fall, Arthur Miller wrote, "The word "now" is like a bomb through the window, and it ticks." So quickly the time goes by. I know you have been waiting patiently for information on the ruffled jackets, dresses, sash, and launch of the website. I have news!
Sales will start on the jackets, cream dress with sash, and more on Thursday at 9 pm, CST. If you are just visiting for the first time, my items {formerly Mia Joie} tend to sell very quickly. I will have a few hundred clothing pieces available at that time, so I don't think I will sell out right away... but I never know for sure. My website will launch before then, so you can read the product description, view pictures, see pricing, etc. The exact date of the launch is yet to be determined.
In addition, at long last, I have a $2 Giveaway for you! $2 Giveaways are something I started a long time ag,o and they just stuck around.... it may be a product sample, an extra of something I made for a gift, something I made for my studio... anything! Today I am offering a little bag, great for make-up, love notes, treasured photos, or any other random sundries. I have a line of women's textile necklaces, and most of those will come in a simpler version of this little pouch.

I also have the Casia Belt in three colors. It features a hand-cut flower with beaded center on a chocolate brown elastic band which is stretchy and can be worn around the waist or as a headband. Band measures 15.5," but can be made smaller if desired. Colors available are fuchsia, pale pink, and red. Each band comes in a labeled fabric bag. You can see an additional picture here on in the previous post.

Your photos are always so beautiful, Jessica! I just posted about you on my blog. I CANNOT WAIT for Thursday at 9! I am dying for one or two of those jackets for Lillie!
Ha ha so I was just loading the Blog on my iPhone when at last the for sale post came up, another very lucky day for me <3 I know where I will be Thursday night :)
Thanks, Jennifer! I have not forgotten about you! Changing the name, luaching the website, and everything else has been so very overwhelming. As it is, I am outside on the laptop, shaking my head at the typos, but still trying to be around for the kids.
Anyway, yes--9 pm Thursday. The website will go up sometime before then.
So excited about the beautiful jacket too!! Like Jenni, it was love at first sight with that sweet bolero jacket. :) Cannot wait until Thursday!
