Photo Folie - Smokey Grey

Hello and happy Friday! Due to popular demand, today's photo Friday has shades of smokey gray. The truth is, I wanted to do some gray boots, but I did not have the fabric I wanted on hand. Today's photography is by Fleur Bonheur, who offers unusual digital collages, some like this one are a combination of beauty and haunting. As for the shoe design, not too far off the beaten path today. Every photo Friday I want to reinvent the wheel--do something different and unique. But today's shoes, the Luciana, are similar to other styles I've done, but lovely all the same. They are made from heathered gray wool, silver grosgrain ribbon, and rhinestone detail. Totally and completely à la my miss Mia, the perpetual princess. While it doesn't show up with the lighting in the photo, the shoes have a good bit of sparkle that were casting rainbows through the studio as I was sewing them.
I made a few sizes of these shoes, but they are so close but not quite finished. Perhaps I can complete those and the Julie shoes and list them at the same time. I also made a sweet little headband, hand wrapped in ribbon with more rhinestones and grosgrain and a piling of hand torn chiffon. I will take a photo of it worn before I list them. Happy Weekend!
