Photo Folie - Shades of Violet
Today is Photo Friday on a Monday. I really need a new name. Feel free to offer one and if you come up with something brilliant, I'll definitely return the favor! In the meantime, to understand Photo Friday please read the explanation in this post. Today's inspirational image is from the oh-so fabulous blog Decor8 by Holly Becker. The Color Me Pretty posts by Leslie Shewring are my favorite, and always visit there when I am in need of a little photo styling inspiration.
The other day I bought some violet dye, and that purchase in combination with the image above inspired a series of shoes, pictured below.
So, instead of one pair of shoes, I have three available for you, two of which were made from custom-dyed fabrics and trim just for this post. So many people said that they loved the flower on the Audra shoes, so I created a similar design but in violet....
Second, I have fun modern print pair of shoes.
Additionally, I have a third design, also custom dyed. It features a hand-torn chiffon bow, and a gem which I backed with vintage floral fabric from one of my shopping trips. All three styles of shoes in a few sizes are available here. I hope to add a few more sizes soon.

Ooo Mrs.Soup. I like Photo-Folie. Because Folie in french means frenzy and we all know that's what happens with her shoes when "Photo Friday" pops up. ;)
Jessica! Lovely as always. I really want a pair of shoes for my girlie, but can never get some :( I really like the Sabrina shoe, and would need a size 4. Any chance of those coming in again soon? And in regards to the website, if a shoe is instock does it say it is on the picture, or do you just have to test each one you want in each size and click add to cart to see if it goes through??

Gorgeous as always, Jess! Love the color and the shots as well as the beautiful shoes, of course! Was going to message you back tonight but once again it is after two and I need to get to bed. I have had three or four three am nights in a row and it is starting to hit me! Will get back to you tomorrow!

Lori, they are all sold out. I put in a description, but I must not be explaining clearly... We list more shoes every week, with a specific time and style. I would love feedback (from those who know this system) of a better way to communicate that and I will put it under every shoe/boot listing.

Jess, I've actually been thinking about this a bit, rather than answer the same questions over and over again, what about either putting something in the info tab on facebook or posting something on the discussion boards? I could even type up a "helpful hints" blurb from a customers perspective to explain the process so you don't have to do it over and over again. Let me know if that would help!
Oh and I do think that if people stopped and read the description it's pretty clear, most people just don't take the time to read too in depth before emailing, commenting or posting on facebook. But perhaps if you had a link you could direct them to every time, it would take less work?
Jen, I think this is a good idea. I am actually working on a blog post, a newsletter that people can sign up to be notified when inventory comes in, and an email auto-response b/c it seems every few minutes I get another email :)
I love you your stuff! To bad I only have boys... Just as a suggestion have you thought of changing your Photo Friday to Montage Monday? Again, Beautiful stuff. You are so talented!
