Calling All Creative Souls

If you are anything like me, you may feel a sometimes irrefutable desire to get away... maybe to have an adventure, maybe to create, or maybe just to have a bit of quiet. The Makerie is the perfect place to find all of those in one trip! It's a creative retreat set in the beautiful foothills of the Colorado Mountains. Last year I was a teacher. {You can read more about that here.} While Joyfolie was simply too busy for me to teach this year, I will be at the Makerie giving a talk on how to transition your craft into a business, as well sharing the journey of Joyfolie and offering tips on how to take a product into manufacturing. I hope to see you there!

So wish I could go again--but went to the Pinkle Toes photography workshop instead this year (to hone another type of craft--I think I have too many crafts, lol).
Last year was awesome--so beautiful, so relaxing, so worth it, and Boulder is *so* my type of place--I'd definitely recommend that other crafty-types make the trip!
The Makerie looks like an amazing weekend!
Chantal, wow--Pinkletoes! Michele is awesome! Good for you! And I am so glad I got to meet you last year at the MAkerie! Good memories! <3
She is, Jessica--I actually think that's how I discovered Joyfolie--and she's doing our photos for Lyla's second birthday in May, so I'm waiting for the perfect Joyfolie shoes to go with her outfit :)
